If an ROC citizen is married to an alien, where should they file income tax returns?

When filing their income tax return jointly, if the taxpayer is an ROC citizen, he or she should file at the National Taxation Bureau where he or she is domiciled. If the taxpayer is a foreign resident, he or she should file at the National Taxation Bureau based on the address on his or her ARC. Regardless of where the tax return is filed, their income must be filed jointly.
