The Changhua Branch, National Taxation Bureau of the Central Area (NTBCA), Ministry of Finance has expressed: Regarding the 2024 alien individual income tax, those who have filed tax returns online and opted for "direct tax refund" between June 1 and June 30, 2025 and who have filed tax returns by paper or other media and opted for "direct tax refund" between May 1 and June 30, 2025, should have received their refunds on September 11, 2025.

Changhua Branch further explained, if taxpayers meet the above conditions and choose to have their refunds remitted into their designated accounts automatically, they can check their registered accounts after September 11, 2025, or they can check their tax refunds online from the official website of the National Taxation Bureau of the Central Area ( https://www.ntbca.gov.tw ) by using the following steps: Homepage/ English/ Themes/ Foreigner/ Check Refund Online, or scan the QR code with a mobile device.
